Remember you are not alone - domestic abuse can happen to anyone no matter your age, race, class, culture, disability, gender, sexuality or lifestyle.

Manchester Women’s Aid community outreach programmes

We provide community outreach programmes to help you live a life free from fear of domestic violence and abuse. To help deliver our vital work, dedicated outreach workers from Manchester Women’s Aid CONNECT Service are assigned to help both women and men at risk from domestic violence and abuse. Our Domestic Abuse Workers (DAWs) and Independent Domestic Violence Advocators (IDVA's) are specialists in this area and can support you through your experience and whatever your risk level. Our IDVA's may liaise on your behalf at a MARAC (multi-agency risk assessment conference) and, they are there to make sure you get the help you need. By working alongside partner organisations, we’re able to deliver a programme of care that helps you live a safer and happier life.

Who are community outreach services for?

Our community outreach services are for people suffering from domestic violence and abuse. Whether you are looking to escape your current situation and use our refuge services, or are looking for help coping with your current homelife, our outreach programmes in Manchester can help you live the life you deserve.
