About us: The Pankhurst Trust (Incorporating Manchester Women’s Aid) is a women-led organisation whose vision is to ensure that people, suffering, or at risk of domestic abuse receive appropriate support. We offer support by providing safe accommodation, specialist support services and by working in partnership with other agencies. In addition to our domestic abuse services, we deliver a range of services from our base at the Pankhurst Centre including a women’s weekly drop-in.
Our domestic abuse services are accredited by the Women’s Aid National Quality Standards (Stage 1) and our IDVA and Outreach services recently secured SaveLives Leading Lights Status.
The Role: The post holder will be responsible for the administration of finance processes within the organisation including: recording of all income and expenditure; maintenance of the rental income system, expenses payment system and petty cash system; processes all purchase orders in line with the organisation’s Purchasing Policy and preparing regular payment runs.
About you: We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and efficient team member. You will be an experienced, accurate administrator who is able to work to deadlines, prioritising busy workloads. A friendly, flexible ‘can do’ attitude is essential for this role. Experience of using an accounting software e.g. Quickbooks, Sage, creating and maintaining spreadsheets, databases and publications is essential.

Duration: Permanent, subject to continued funding
Hours: 35 hours per week. Flexible working requests will be considered
Salary: £18 484 per annum
